Central Station
Picture of central station

The CENTRAL STATION is an optional and additional feature to the M30 and M20 telemetry outstations (remote sites). The Central Station can be installed either at the same time as the M30(2) or later, as and when required.

The Central Station (CS) is a PC based system that operates under windows 9* or XP/NT. The Central Station is connected to a standard telephone line and accepts

information (alarms and occurrences) from M30 remote outstations as well as gathering information (auto polling / interrogation) from the outstations.

The Central Station provides visible and tangible real time adisplay and the recording of events at all the associated M30 outstations. It performs all its routines e.g. interrogation, with out effecting the standard dialout and response procedures out into place at the remotes sites.

The Central Station is designed for customers Who Have multiple sites and/or the Customers requiring the M30 DATA LOGGING feature.

Features of the CENTRAL STATION:

AUTO POLLING - The Central Station can be programmed to automatically dialout and interrogate all the outstations at preset times to regularly check the status at each remote site. This feature also has a number of other benefits including; checking of the condition of the telephone line, M30 Status, whether the M30 has been turned off. Auto polling can be initiated automatically, manually or when only one alarm has been reported.

ALARM- reporting from outstations. Automatic recording and storage of history of alarms.

DISPLAY- of alarm history - with details of time, date, location and alarm type.

PRINTOUT- of alarms as they occur with details of time, date, location and alarm type.

ALARM OUTPUT- If one or more outstations is in alarm or cannot be interrogated on auto polling then an alarm can be activated to produce an audible alarm. An auxiliary output from the CS can be connected to a telemetry Unit for E.g. Times when the Central Station is unmanned so that 'off-site' duty standby staff can be informed of an alarm or communication failure.
